Playschemes for Disabled Children With Complex Needs

The playscheme is a school holiday activity specifically for disabled children and young people with complex needs. The scheme takes place over the Easter and Summer holidays.

To be eligible for the scheme your child must be:

-      Registered with North Lincolnshire Council for short breaks

-      Aged between 5 and 18 years at the start of the scheme

-      Attending a local school for children with special educational needs

-      Be unable to benefit from short break activities in the community with additional support

Attendance at the playscheme will form part of your child’s short breaks allocation.

All parents who are registered for short breaks should be automatically sent information and booking forms.

If you have not registered for short breaks, please do so as soon as possible. You can register online for short breaks at North Lincolnshire’s Every Disabled Child Matters website (www. everynorthlincschildmatters.org.uk/shortbreaks). Alternatively you may contact Clare Lawcock. She is based at:

Oswald House

72 Oswald Road

Scunthorpe

Her phone number is 01724 407988 or Email at: [email protected]
