Our Curriculum Intents

•To be individualised and person-centred – what does this mean for each child?
•Gives the children the skills they need for the next part of their journey
•Builds on prior knowledge and works towards the next steps
•Provides challenge, stretch
•To fulfil each child’s potential regardless of their starting point. Focuses on independence.
•Provide access to broad, balanced and rich experiences
•Prepare children for life after St Luke’s
•Needs to be a curriculum that has purpose – e.g. aspects of Maths, key skills
•Enjoyment and experienced by all in a supportive safe environment
•Promotes the local community the children live in.

How can we deliver that intent?
